At some point in our adult lives we have all worn a mask. Different masks for different people. For some reason as we get older we feel the need to use these masks much more often than we did when we were younger. Sometimes the mask is for a protective measure, and sometimes it is only a projective one.
To some extent, that's why I find children so refreshing. There is no mask. They are open, honest, and real. They haven't learned the need to hide behind anyone or anything. For our children life is a ball but there is no masquerade.
