[corn, cows and fun]

Cleaning up my files last week, I realized I had failed to share with my blog readers one of my favorite shoots from this past fall. Most likely I say favorite due to the amount of sheer fun we had! Thanks to Becky for being so willing to model the clothes I needed her to (even if she was slightly uncomfortable.) Doesn't she make a gorgeous model?!

We made it to the corn field just in the nick of time. You can't tell, but the farmer cut down the last strip of corn we were standing in front of just minutes after the last snap of the shutter!

Corn, cows, and lots of laughter... we make a great team;)

Can't think of a time of year that is more beautiful or soul stirring than fall. In fact the only thing I can seem to fault it with is the fact that it doesn't seem to last long enough.

Took my kids up in the mountains we are so blessed to live by and relished every minute of it. Came home and apparantely the kids were still relishing it (haven't seen the J man share is cherished car since.. well ever!)

Sadly enough, I think snow is just around the corner. I am hopeful to get at least one more trip up the canyon to enjoy all the beautiful color!

Every now and then you'll start off a session on the wrong foot... fortunately this one ended on the right one! Kristie, I seriously hope your ankle isn't broken! Thanks so much for being such a good sport even though I know you were in some serious pain. I enjoyed getting to know you and your family, thank you so much for donating to such a good cause (nie nie fundraiser ) hope you feel the results were worth it.

Ever have that dream where you are running as fast as you can and you just can't quite catch up... unfortunately this blog has a lot of catching up to do and I'm going to be running a while before I can do it :) In the mean time, I did want to post these pictures of a cute family Becky let me help her shoot this past week. This week I took Jordan with me in search of some acorns for a fall project I am working on. When I asked Jordan if he wanted to help me, he said "sure, but I need a map." Apparantly this is a special map, one that tells you which tree's have the most acorns with x marking the home of the largest acorn.

Turns out Jordan is quite the navigator, seeing as how we retuned home with quite the large jar full!
